It was such a pleasure to reconnect with so many people from the community, exchange ideas, and see the latest innovations shaping the future of our industry.

First, a very special thank you to DT Swiss for the kind invitation and warm hospitality. Spending time with your team is always a highlight – the passion and dedication you bring to every detail is truly inspiring.

I also want to extend my thanks to a few others who made the weekend extra special:

• Hunt – for giving me an early look at your new wheels before release. That was incredibly kind, and I can’t wait to see how they’re received.

• Schwalbe – for organizing the tire testings.

• TIME – for the impressive work on your new carbon fiber frame molds made from wax. The level of engineering and craftsmanship behind this process is remarkable, and it was inspiring to learn more about it.

  
  

While I unfortunately couldn’t attend the general bike ride tests this year due to being under the weather, it was great to see the energy around the rides and to catch up with friends in the industry. I’m already looking forward to trying out some of the new bikes next time!

A Show That Balances Realism and Optimism

As always, Cyclingworld stood out not just for the products on display, but for the conversations. It’s no secret that the cycling industry is navigating some challenging times, but the openness and honesty in discussions here gave me confidence that we’re moving in the right direction. The mix of innovation, passion, and collaboration I saw throughout the halls left me motivated and optimistic for what’s ahead.

Looking Forward

Even though I missed the chance to get out on the test rides this year, the expo reminded me how much I’m looking forward to trying out the next wave of bikes, wheels, and tires. More importantly, it reminded me how grateful I am to be part of a community that keeps driving forward with creativity and resilience.
